Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Played in 15 sets over seven matches...picked up six digs along with an assist and service ace in a reserve role...had three digs in a home contest against Fontbonne on March 23...was named to the MIVA Academic All-Conference squad.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 49 sets...had 37 digs and a pair of services aces in a reserve role...handled a season-best 10 digs against Mt. St. Joseph on Jan. 25 during the Bearcats' opening weekend of play...had aces against Dominican University and Holy Names.
BEFORE McK: Notched 145 kills, 85 digs and 21 service aces as a senior for St. John Vianney High School…helped lead the Golden Griffins to the 2013 Missouri Class 3 state championship…had five kills in the title match…was also part of Vianney’s state championship team in 2011…was a three-year varsity performer for Vianney.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Matt and Danielle Thum.
