Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2016): Played in 18 of 25 matches recording 196 kills finishing fourth on the team. Averaged a team high 3.06 kills per set to go with 78 digs and 40 blocks. Put down double digit kills in 11 matches with a season high of 22 in a 3-2 win over Grand Canyon on March 11....collected Academic All-MIVA accolades.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Was third on the team in both kills (203) and blocks (60)...notched a career-high 15 attacks at home against Missouri Baptist on Jan. 27...achieved another career-best with six blocks versus Morningside on Jan. 24...tied for fourth on the squad with 92 digs and was third with 15 service aces...collected 12 digs against Grand Canyon on Feb. 13...served up a career-high three aces at Limestone on March 8...earned MIVA Academic All-Conference honors.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Overcame an early-season injury to post 76 kills in 51 sets...had a season-high 13 kills at Dominican University on Jan. 25...tied for fourth on team with 29 blocks (two solos)...had five blocks each against Mt. St. Joseph on Jan. 25 and versus Milwaukee School of Engineering the following day...was fourth on squad with 10 service aces...had a pair of aces in the Holy Names contest on March 8.

BEFORE McK: Earned two varsity letters during career at Minooka High School…collected 137 kills and 95 blocks as a senior for the Indians…helped lead Minooka to a fourth-place finish in the IHSA state tournament…earned All-Conference honors as a junior and senior…grabbed All-Area honors as a senior…selected to play in the Illinois High School Boys Volleyball All-Star Game following senior season…named to the All-Tournament teams at Lincoln-Way East in 2013 and Wheaton Warrenville South in 2012…helped Minooka to a 30-match winning streak in 2012.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Kenneth Walker and Ronnette Walker.
