Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2016): Appeared in 23 matches for the Bearcats finishing third on the team in kills with 200 with an average of 2.20 per set. Led the team with a 4.50 attack percentage which ranked third in the conference and fourth nationally. Finished second on the squad with 86 blocks including 17 solo blocks, averaging .95 per set. Put down a season high 19 kills in a 3-2 road win over Barton on March 18 and a season high .750 attack percentage on March 5 against NJIT....collected Academic All-MIVA accolades.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015):Â Appeared in all but one of the Bearcats' 111 sets on the season...was second on squad with 245 kills while leading McKendree with a .447 hitting percentage...led all MIVA players in attack percentage...set a new program record by hitting .882 (15 kills on 17 attempts without an error) in a home triumph over Culver-Stockton on Feb. 10...hit at least .500 in a match 11 times (minimum 10 attack attempts)...posted his career-high in kills during the Culver-Stockton match...was second on team with 69 blocks, including 13 solos...had season-best five blocks in two separate matches (Jan. 23 versus Graceland and April 1 at Lindenwood).
AS A FRESHMAN (2014):Â Paced McKendree with 69 blocks, including a team-best 12 solos...registered a season-high eight blocks at home against Quincy on March 29...had five or more blocks on five different occasions...also finished third on the team with 193 kills while hiltting .262...had 14 attacks twice during the year -- versus Coker on Jan. 31 and at home against Culver-Stockton on Feb. 14...had six matches with at least 10 kills.
BEFORE McK: Averaged 4.6 kills and 2.4 blocks per game during career at Homewood-Flossmoor High School…posted 239 kills and 97 blocks as a senior for the Vikings…garnered All-Conference honors as a senior…was named Homewood-Flossmoor’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior…collected the Vikings’ four-year varsity award…selected as the team’s Most Improved Player as a sophomore.
