AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Played in 13 games making nine starts… hit .333… scored seven runs... pitched a total of 1.0 innings, allowing two hits and two strikeouts… had a 1-0 record... GEICO Academic All-GLVC

BEFORE McK: Bailey Merritt spent her four-season career at Savannah High School, and ended her senior season with a 0.484 batting average. She played second base for the Savages and was honored as a 3x First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-State  and a 3x First Team All-District player. While playing for the Savages, her team had the most winning season of the program, won their District Championship for the first time and won their Sectional Championship for the first time. Merritt also spent some time playing for the Northwest Premiere-Club softball team. Academically, Merritt was named Academic All-State and part of the National Honor Society.
