• Served as the Radio Play-by-Play Announcer for Illinois Central College Women's Basketball, calling 215 games for the Cougars over eight seasons (2017-2025). That tenure included five trips to the NJCAA National Tournament, including a Final Four appearance in 2021 and a 5th Place Finish in 2018. The Cougars were also the #1-ranked team in the nation for a majority of the 2018-2019 season, winning 32 consecutive games.
• Was the Public Address Announcer & Radio Play-by-Play Announcer for Metamora High School Softball, whilst also coordinating the team's social media efforts. During his tenure with the Redbirds, they won three consecutive conference and regional championships, whilst also qualifying for the Elite 8 in 2022 and 2023.
• Staab was awarded the Sportsperson of the Year Award from the Illinois Softball Coaches Association in 2023 for his coverage not just of the Redbirds, but of the prestigous Mid-Illini Softball Conference.
