Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2015): Played in 94 total sets over 28 matches…totaling 249 digs for an average of 2.65 per set for the Bearcats… put up a season-high 24 digs on Sept. 18 against Truman State...added 56 assists and 13 aces....Earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Appeared in 32 of the Bearcats' 34 matches, and played in 105 sets...was second on the team with 547 assists...reached double figures in assists 27 times on the year, including each of her last 16 contests...posted a season-high 32 sets in two different matches (Sept. 20 against Truman State and Nov. 5 versus the University of MIssouri-St. Louis...matched a career-high with both of those efforts...ranked No. 17 among all GLVC players in assists per set at 5.21...served up 24 assists on the year, good for third on the squad...had three aces against four different foes...was fifth on the team with 178 digs...handled a season-best 12 digs against Missouri S & T on Oct. 25 and again versus Truman State on Nov. 15 at the GLVC Tournament...notched Academic All-GLVC honors.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Played in 27 matches, appearing in 98 sets...led team as a freshman with 449 assists...notched a season-high 32 assists in a Sept. 22 home contest against Maryville...recorded double figures in assists 23 times, including each of her last 22 matches of the year...finished third on team in both digs (189) and service aces (17)...served up four aces versus Minnesota State-Moorhead at the University of Central Missouri Peggy Martin Challenge on Sept. 14...handled 16 digs in the Maryville match.
BEFORE McK: Earned four varsity letters during her career at Mt. Pulaski High School...was a four-year starter and two-time team captain for the Hilltoppers...led team with 538 assists, 274 digs and 77 service aces as a senior...was named the State Journal-Register Player of the Year as a senior...named All-State and All-Area following her senior season...was a two-time All-Conference honoree for Mt. Pulaski...collected special mention All-State accolades following her junior year...also grabbed All-Area honors...helped lead the Hilltoppers to three second-place finishes at the IHSA Class 1A State Tournament in her four varsity seasons.
