Biography
AS A SENIOR (2020): Played in 18 sets over seven matches.. recorded 48 kills, 6.0 total blocks, 25 digs, and one service ace. Russell had a season high 16 kills and four blocks against Quincy on February 20
AS A JUNIOR (2019): Played in 101 sets over 27 matches... recorded 303 kills to lead the team's offense, 14 service aces, 167 digs, and 53 total blocks. Russell collected a career high 21 kills vs. Purdue Northwest on September 13 as well as a season high 16 digs vs. Gannon on September 6. Elle was named to the Lindenwood Challenge and Ferris State Invitational All-Tournament teams.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in 113 sets over 31 matches... collected 186 kills, 19 service aces, 293 total digs, and 27 total blocks... Russell tallied a season high 18 kills vs USI on September 11 as well as a career high of 18 digs against UMSL on October 2.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Played in 124 sets over 32 matches…compiled 149 kills, 249 digs and 28 total blocks…put down a season-high 13 kills against Maryville on Oct. 27 and a recorded a season-best 17 digs against UMSL on Nov. 7.
BEFORE McK: Put down 840 kills her first three seasons with the Lancers along with 604 digs, and 104 blocks. Earned All-Conference honors three straight seasons and First Team All-State as a junior... also played for the High Performance club team
