Chase Messer enters his second year at McKendree University in 2025-26 as Assistant Director of Sports Information. Messer has been one of the most passionate collegiate communications professionals within the younger generation.

• Recently was an Athletic Operations & Communications Graduate Assistant at New England College (NEC) located in scenic Henniker, New Hampshire from 2022-2024
• Was a team manager/student assistant for NEC's men's basketball program throughout his undergrad from 2018-2022
• Performed work-study for various roles and sports during undergrad
• Volunteered with the University of New Hampshire (UNH) when hosting the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Regional in Manchester, New Hampshire
• Assisted with per-diem work for surrounding colleges in the region, primarily for live statistics
• Involved with Special Olympic events throughout middle and high school
• Did substitute teaching alongside his graduate assistantship at Henniker Community School

• Never played sports collegiately; was more involved with behind-the-scenes work
• Played basketball for recreational leagues throughout middle and high school

• Native of southern Maine
• Received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) for double-majoring in Business Administration and in Sport & Recreation Management from New England College in May of 2022
• Earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sport & Recreation Management from New England College in the summer of 2024 in correlation with his graduate assistantship
• Father (Bill Messer) played lacrosse at the University of New England (UNE) in the late 80's, as mother (Maureen Cahill) played basketball at UNE during the same time
• Older brother of three siblings (Madden, Lowell, William)
• Resides in Mascoutah, Illinois
