Box Score (KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 12)- The McKendree University women's soccer team battled with No. 13 Rockhurst University on Friday night, but gave up a second-half goal and lost 1-0.

The Bearcats fall to 7-4-1 overall and 6-4-1 in the GLVC after the loss, and will travel to Liberty, Mo., on Sunday to face No. 18 William Jewell College at Noon.

After a scoreless first half, the Hawks scored the only goal of the contest in the 72nd minute on a goal by Brandi Van Booven. The Bearcats were outshot 22-9 in the contest and placed three shots on goal.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) hadseven saves and fell to 7-4-1 overall after the loss.
