(ST. CHARLES, Mo., Feb.1)- The McKendree University wrestling team lost a dual match on Wednesday night at Lindenwood University (Mo.) 34-12.

The Bearcats fell to 2-4 overall on the season and will host Maryville University on Tuesday, February 7th in their last home dual of the season.

McKendree earned two of its victories via decision and one by forfeit. Redshirt freshman Luis Alba (Kissimmee, Fla./Cypress Creek) won by forfeit at 184 pounds, and redshirt junior Kyle Reid (Belleville, Ill./Belleville East) followed with a decision victory over Jed Mamie at 197 pounds. Redshirt freshman heavyweight Ross Janney (Daleville, Ind./Yorktown) was the only other Bearcat who was victorious in the dual, defeating Austin Garza by decision, 2-0.
