(ARKADELPHIA, Ark., March 12)--The McKendree University baseball team will spend part of its Spring Break in Arksansas for a trio of mid-week games.

The Bearcats will open a five-game road trip with a Tuesday doubleheader at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. Following the Ouachita Baptist twinbill, McKendree will head north of Little Rock to Searcy, where the Bearcats will tangle with an NCAA Division II top 20 opponent in Harding University. The Harding contest will begin at 2 p.m.

After the game at Harding, McKendree will close out its five-game road swing with a doubleheader at Lindenwood University on Saturday.

McKendree brings a 4-12 overall record to Arkansas. The Bearcats took one of four games at home last weekend against William Woods University. Ouachita Baptist has a season record of 12-11 and is coming off a series victory -- two games to one -- in Great American Conference play against Arkansas Tech University. Harding enters Wednesday's tilt with a 16-6 mark. The Bison are ranked 17th in the latest NCAA Division II poll. Harding was in action last weekend at home against Quincy University, taking two of three meetings from the Hawks.

Following Saturday's twinbill at Lindenwood, the Bearcats will host the Lions in a single game at Hypes Field on Sunday at 1 p.m.
