Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 4)- McKendree University sophomore forward Alex Ridsdale (Nelson, New Zealand/Mount Albert) scored two goals, but a late score by University of Wisconsin-Parkside dealt the Bearcats a 3-2 loss.

McKendree fell to 2-6-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with the loss and will host Lewis University on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

The Rangers led 2-0 in the 54th minute, but Ridsdale cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 59th minute off an assist by junior forward C.J. Cerna (Collinsville, Ill./Collinsville).

Ridsdale drew a foul in the box in the 67th minute and converted a penalty kick opportunity to tie the game 2-2.

The game appeared to be headed to overtime, but Wisconsin-Parkside scored on a loose ball in the box with 28-seconds left to take a 3-2 lead and earn the win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Scott Armistead (Auckland, New Zealand/Saint Peter's College) fell to 2-6-1 overall and had three saves in the loss.
