Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., April 19)- The McKendree University women's lacrosse team lost a Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association contest to Colorado Mesa University, 19-5, on Friday.

The Bearcats fell to 1-12 overall and 0-8 in WILA play and will host Regis University on Saturday, April 20 at noon.

Freshmen midfielders Sarah Collins (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) and Bree Suter (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill), along with freshman attacker Krystin Major (Arnold, Md./Indian Creek) all scored goals in the first half, while freshmen attacker Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) scored both of her goals in the second half. Freshman midfielder Shirley Boland (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) had one assist, while also adding four ground balls and three draw controls.
