Box Score (Lebanon, Ill., May 1)- The McKendree University women's lacrosse team dropped the season finale of its inaugural season on Wednesday night to Lindenwood University 21-3.

The Bearcats ended their season with an overall record of 1-14 overall and 0-10 in the Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Freshman attacker Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) opened the game with her team-high 26th goal of the season. Freshmen midfielders Shirley Boland (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) and Lia Hanenburg (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) also scored second-half goals in the game, their 15th and sixth goals of the season, respectively. Boland also had an assist in the game, giving her a team-high eight on the season.
