The McKendree University women's soccer team hits the road for two conference matches this weekend.

The Bearcats travel to Springfield, Mo., on Friday, Sep. 27 for a 6 p.m., contest at Drury University. The Panthers are 4-2-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference this season.

McKendree will then head to Rolla, Mo., for a noon matchup at Missouri S&T on Sunday. Sep. 29. The Lady Miners are 1-2-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the GLVC this season.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS: Drury enters the weekend with an overall record of 4-2-1 and a 2-1-1 mark in conference play. The Panthers swept conference play last weekend with two wins on the road. Drury edged Illinois-Springfield on Friday, 2-1, before earning a 4-2 win at University of Southern Indiana on Sunday. Sophomore forward Emily Cline leads the Panthers with six goals and two assists so far this season. He six goals and 14 points currently leads the conference. Drury leads the all-time series 5-1, with McKendree taking a 2-0 win from Drury last season.

SCOUTING THE LADY MINERS: Missouri S&T enters the weekend with identical overall and conference records of 1-2-1. The Lady Miners split its two games last weekend, falling at Southern Indiana, 2-1, in double overtime, before earning a 1-0 win at Illinois-Springfield last Sunday. Sophomore midfielder Catherine Hawn leads Missouri S&T with one goal and one assist this season.

MILESTONE WATCH: Senior Amy Cassiday (Rochester, Ill./Rochester) currently ranks in the top 10 at McKendree in multiple career categories. She's ranked fifth with nine game-winning goals, is in sixth with 33 goals, and is in seventh with 75 points. Senior Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) is currently sixth all-time at McKendree with 11 wins and is ninth with 91 saves.
