Box Score (MARSHALL, Mo., Sept. 5)- The McKendree University women's soccer team lost its season opener on Thursday night at Missouri Valley College 2-0.

The Bearcats fall to 0-1 on the season and will host Baker University on Sunday, Sept. 8 at noon.

The Vikings took a 1-0 lead with a minute to go in the first half and added another in the 55th minute to earn the 2-0 win.

Senior goalkeeper Maggie Dudas (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) grabbed three saves in the loss.
