(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 24)- The McKendree University men's soccer team will hit the final stretch of its regular season this weekend.

The Bearcats travel to Evansville, Ind., to face University of Southern Indiana on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m., followed by their final home game of the season on Sunday, Oct. 26 against Bellarmine University at 2:30 p.m.. The men's soccer team will be honoring its five senior members as part of senior day festivities prior to the game Sunday.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES: Southern Indiana enters Friday with an overall record of 5-7-2 and a 4-6-2 mark in the GLVC. The Eagles were swept last weekend, dropping a 2-0 match at Drury University on Friday, before losing 1-0 at Missouri S&T on Sunday.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS: Bellarmine enters the weekend with an overall record of 6-7-2 and a 4-6-2 mark in the GLVC. The Knights defeated William Jewell College 2-1 last Friday, before tying Rockhurst 0-0 in double overtime on Sunday.

SENIOR DAY: Prior to the game on Sunday, the Bearcats will honor its five seniors playing their final home game at Leemon Field. Connor Cassidy (Glasgow, Scotland/St. Andrews), C.J. Cerna (Collinsville, Ill./Collinsville), Joe Hilderbrand (St. Louis, Mo./Vianney), Kavel Smith (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George’s College) and Seth Wilson (Bethalto, Ill./Civic Memorial) will all complete their collegiate soccer careers on Sunday at McKendree, and we'd like to congratulate them on their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck in their future endevavors.
