(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 3)- The McKendree University men's soccer team hopes to post back-to-back wins for the first time this season this weekend when it heads north for a pair of pivotal Great Lakes Valley Conference matchups.

The Bearcats play at Lewis University at 5 p.m., Friday, before heading to Somers, Wis., to play University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 12 p.m.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS: Lewis University enters the weekend with an overall record of 5-2-1 with a 4-1-1 record in the GLVC. The Flyers split last weekends games, picking up a 2-0 win at University of Illinois at Springfield on Friday, before dropping a 1-0 decision at University of Southern Indiana on Sunday.

SCOUTING THE RANGERS: University of Wisconsin-Parkside enters the weekend with an overall mark of 5-4 and a 2-4 record in the GLVC. The Rangers have won three-straight games, edging Southern Indiana, 1-0, last Friday before defeating Illinois Springfield, 2-0, on Sunday. UW-Parkside also earned a 6-0 win over Oakland City University on Wednesday.
