Box Score (EVANSVILLE, Ind., Feb. 1)- The McKendree University women's basketball team fell in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup at University of Southern Indiana 100-49 on Saturday.

The Bearcats fall to 7-11 overall and 2-8 in the GLVC with the loss and will host No. 8 Drury University on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m.

Junior guard Caty Ponce (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) led all players with 15 points in the loss, while sophomore guard Ashley Klass (Evansville, Ind./Evansville North) had her third double-digit scoring effort of the season with 11 points.

McKendree trailed early 10-8, but battled back to cut the deficit to 17-12 with 14:31 left in the first half. Southern Indiana found its groove from there, shooting 10-of-14 from beyond the arc to jump out to a 53-25 lead at the break.

The Bearcats went 5-11 in the second half from three-point range, but were unable to find good scoring opportunities in the lane with only four point on the day in the paint.

Libby Ogden led Southern Indiana with 13 points, while Anna Hackert recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
