Lebanon, IL - Postseason honors continue to roll in for the McKendree University Women's Basketball team. On Thursday morning, it was announced that Bearcat junior forward
Baylie Parks had brought in another award, this time a Second Team All-Midwest Region selection from the Division-II Collegiate Commissioners Association. It's the second such honor for Parks, who was named to the organization's First Team All-Midwest Region group for the 2024-2025 season.
Parks was a model of consistency for head coach
Kari Kerkhoff during the 2025-2026 season, tallying eight double-doubles and is up to 22 for her collegiate career. Over the course of the junior season, Parks scored 376 points, shooting 52.1% from the field and 75.5% from the free throw line. Perhaps to be expected at the rate she was getting double-doubles, but Parks nearly averaged as such - 16.1 points and 9.1 rebounds.
