Box Score (ST. LOUIS, Mo., Feb. 11)—The McKendree University men's volleyball team made the short trip to St. Louis on Tuesday evening, where it dropped a three-set decision at Missouri Baptist University. The host Spartans won by scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-11.
 
McKendree moves to 1-12 on the season. The Bearcats will play four of their next five matches at home, beginning with a two-match weekend series against Culver-Stockton College. McKendree will host the Wildcats Friday at 7 p.m. before the teams square off in a 5 p.m. contest on Saturday.
 
Freshman outside hitter Dustin Borenstein (Highland Park, IL/Highland Park) led the way for McKendree with seven kills, while fellow freshman outside hitter Andy Schnittker helped out with six attacks. Freshman setter Jack MacLean posted team-high totals of 18 assists and 10 digs to pace the Bearcats. Freshman outside hitter Mike Polizzi led McKendree up front with four of McKendree's eight blocks in the match.
