Box Score (CHICAGO, Ill., Feb. 8)—The McKendree University men's volleyball team was swept in a best-of-five match Saturday afternoon at Loyola University-Chicago. The host Ramblers won by scores of 25-16, 25-6 and 25-11.
The loss sends McKendree to 1-10 overall on the season. The Bearcats will return home to host Grand Canyon University Sunday afternoon at the Harry M. Statham Sports Center. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.

Kristian Gallardo (Hemet, CA/Hemet) collected four digs, while freshman setter Jack MacLean handed out 13 assists in the effort for the Bearcats.
Loyola (8-1) opened the first set with a 9-2 to run to grab an early lead. The advantage grew to 21-12 as the Ramblers hit .476 as a team in taking a 1-0 lead in the match. Loyola started the second set in even more dominant fashion by ripping off the first eight points on its way to a 16-2 lead. McKendree battled with Loyola for the early stages of the third set, pulling within 13-9 following a service ace by Patterson. The Ramblers responded by scoring the next seven points to take control in the match.
Cody Caldwell put down a match-high 13 kills to pace Loyola, while Diego Rodriguez dished out 25 assists and handled seven digs.
