Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., March 29)- The McKendree University women's lacrosse team lost 16-9 to Tiffin University on Saturday.
The Bearcats fall to 2-4 overall and will host Wheeling Jesuit University on Sunday, March 30 at Noon.

Morgan Cremen (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) led McKendree with three goals, while freshman attacker
Hannah Schneider (Ellisville, Mo./Lafayette) and freshman midfielder
Victoria Lelo (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) each had two goals and two and one assist, respectively. Sophomore attacker
Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) and freshman midfielder
Ellen Kilkenny (Manchester, Mo./Parkway South) also each scored one goal a piece in the loss. Freshman goalie
Amy Porta (Ellisville, Mo./Marquette) had six saves in the loss and fell to 1-2 in goal this season.
The Dragons scored the first three goals of the game before the Bearcats countered with four-straight goals to take a 4-3 lead. Tiffin went on to score six unanswered goals to jump out to a 9-4 lead with just under two minutes to play, but McKendree cut its deficit to 9-6 at the half with two scores in the final 1:13 of the first half.
The Bearcats kept up its offensive pressure in the second half, but had nine of their 16 shots saved by the Dragon goalie in the final half. McKendree scored three times in the second half, but was unable to cut into the deficit to fall 16-9.
