The McKendree University men's soccer team will make a short roadtrip this weekend over to St. Louis for a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference matches.

The Bearcats travel to St. Louis, Mo., on Friday to play Maryville University at 2:30 p.m., followed by a 2:30 p.m., game at University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS: Maryville University enters the weekend with an overall record of 1-0-2 this season. The Saints tied No. 13 Lindenwood, 2-2, on Wednesday in their most recent contest. McKendree is 11-2 all-time against Maryville and defeated the Saints, 2-0, last season on Oct. 27 at Leemon Field.

SCOUTING THE TRITONS: University of Missouri-St. Louis heads into the weekend with an overall record of 1-0-1 and will host Bellarmine University for its GLVC-opener on Friday The Tritonstied then-No. 7 Lindenwood University, 1-1, on Sep. 6, before defeating Southwest Baptist University, 9-1, on Sep. 7. McKendree holds a 6-6-1 record all-time against Missouri-St. Louis and fell to the Tritons, 1-0, on Oct. 25 at home last season.
