Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Sep. 19)- The McKendree University men's soccer team was edged by Truman State University on Friday night 1-0 in overtime.

The Bearcats fall to 1-3-1 overall and 1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will host No. 11 Quincy University on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

After both teams took six shots in the first half, McKendree was out-shot by the visitors, 11-4, in the second, but only one shot was placed on frame. A ball was put in the box just over two minutes into the overtime period and the Bulldogs' John Lee found the back of the net with a shot to end the game in the 93rd minute.

Junior goalkeeper Scott Armistead (Auckland, New Zealand/Saint Peter's College) fell to 1-2-1 overall and had four saves in the loss.
