(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 16)- The McKendree University women's soccer team lost a close conference match to University of Missouri-St. Louis on Friday 1-0.

The Bearcats fall to 6-5-3 overall and 5-4-2 in the GLVC and will host Maryville University on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 12 p.m.

McKendree had the shot advantage in the game, 14-7, but were unable to place any past the Triton goalkeeper. UMSL scored the lone goal of the contest in the 23rd minute and held on to earn the win.

Senior goalkeeper Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) fell to 6-5-3 overall and had two saves in the loss.
