(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 2)- The McKendree University women's soccer team overcame an early one-goal deficit to earn a 2-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory on Friday night.
The Bearcats improve to 5-3-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the GLVC, and will host Lewis University in a conference match on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 12 p.m.
McKendree trailed 1-0 35-seconds into the game, but tied the game in the 28th minute on a goal by junior
Danielle Hareb (Flatbush, New Zealand/Mount Albert) off a long pass from sophomore

Sydnee Carroll (Millstadt, Ill./Belleville West) in the 61st minute off a pass from senior
Alyssa Patterson (Troy, Ill./Triad).
