(KIRKSVILLE, MO., Oct. 25)- The McKendree University men's soccer team lost its final road game of the season on Sunday at Truman State University 2-0.

The Bearcats fall to 5-10 overall and 5-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and will host its season finale on Wednesday, Oct. 28 against University of Illinois Springfield at 7:30 p.m.

McKendree was unable to get into a rhythm offensively and was held to only eight shots in the game. Following a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute, and scored their second and final goal of the game in the 81st minute to extend their lead to 2-0.

Senior goalkeeper Scott Armistead (Auckland, New Zealand/Saint Peter's College) fell to 5-10 overall and had five saves in the loss.
