(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 27)- The McKendree University women's soccer team will be playing for a berth into the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament on Wednesday night in its regular season finale against University of Illinois Springfield.

SENIOR NIGHT: McKendree will honor its eight seniors in a short ceremony prior to the game on Wednesday. Aubrey Boulicault (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville), Cassie Kaiping (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo), Liz Kaiser (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline). Lauren Mantei (Springfield, Ill./Rochester), Alyssa Patterson (Troy, Ill./Triad), Jordyn Reiniger (Collinsville, Ill./Collinsville), Jessica Smugala (Imperial, Mo./Seckman) and Taylor Zerbe (St. Louis, Mo./Trinity Catholic) will all be making their final home appearance in a Bearcat uniform Wednesday. We'd like to congratualte them on their collegiate careers and wish them all the best of luck in the future.

GLVC TOURNAMENT: The top eight schools in the GLVC standings qualify for the GLVC tournament that will begin on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Bearcats are currently in eighth place and must win or tie to qualify.

SCOUTING THE PRAIRIE STARS: The University of Illinois Springfield enters Wednesday night with an overall record of 5-10-2 with a 4-8-2 mark in the GLVC. The Prairie Stars lost both of their games last weekend, 4-0, to Truman State University on Friday, before losing a 3-0 decision to Quincy University on Sunday.
