Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., March 6)- Sophomore
Victoria Lelo (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) scored six goals on Friday evening to pace the McKendree University women's lacrosse team to a 20-4 win over Colorado State University-Pueblo.
The Bearcats improve to 2-0 and will travel to Kansas City, Mo., to face Rockhurst University on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
Lelo scored all but one of her goals in the first half and also added one assist. Sophomore
Morgan Cremen (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley), and freshmen
Mia Fiore (Eureka, Mo./Eureka High School) and
Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) each added three goals each, while Salthouse also had three assists for the second-straight game. Senior
Sadie Delashmit (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington), juniors
Krystin Major (Arnold, Md./Indian Creek) and
Shirley Boland (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy), sophomore
Hannah Schneider (Ellisville, Mo./Lafayette), and freshman
Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, Mo./Barat Academy) all added a goal each. Schneider also had an assist. Boland and Fiore led the team with six draw controls, while Salthouse also scooped up a team-high four ground balls.

Amy Porta (Ellisville, Mo./Marquette) improved to 2-0 in the cage and had one save.
McKendree rattled off the first 12 goals of the game until the Thunderwolves scored three-straight goals of their own to cut the score to 12-3. Each team added one goal each to make the score 13-4 at the half. It was all Bearcats in the second half, scoring the next seven goals to take a 20-4 lead with 10:45 left in the game to cruise to the win.
