Box Score (ALLENDALE, Mich., April 12)- The McKendree University women's lacrosse team lost a conference contest 19-2 on Sunday at Grand Valley State University.

The Bearcats fall to 9-3 overall and 2-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollagite Athletic Conference, and will host Tiffin University for a conference game on Friday, April 17 at 4 p.m.

Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West) and Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) each had a goal in the contest, while Victoria Lelo (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) had two assists. Taylor Hartwick (Bentonville, Ark./Pattonville) had a team-high four ground balls and Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, Mo./Barat Academy) had a team-high four draw controls. Amy Porta (Ellisville, Mo./Marquette) fell to 9-2 overall in the cage and had nine saves in the loss.

The Lakers led 12-0 at the half, and added three goals in the second half before McKendree got on the board with Holzmeyer's goal from Lelo to make the score 15-1. Grand Valley State added three more goals before Salthouse added her goal from Lelo with 8:17 remaining in the game. The Lakers added its final goal with just over three minutes left in the game.
