Live StatsNo Live Video(LEBANON, Ill., Sep. 24)- The McKendree University women's soccer team will head west down I-44 this weekend to play a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference games at Drury University and Missouri S&T.
GLVC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sophomore forward
Chelsea Whittaker (Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand/St Hilda's Collegiate School) became the third player in program history to earn GLVC Player of the Week honors on Monday. Whittaker earned the award after scoring two goals, including one game-winning goal, and dishing out the game winning assist in two wins last weekend.
REGIONAL RANKINGS: The women's soccer team entered into the NSCAA NCAA Division II Midwest Region rankings this week. The Bearcats are No. 9 in the region, while Friday's opponent, Drury University, sits one spot ahead at No. 8.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS: Drury enters the weekend with an overall record of 3-1-2 with a 2-1-1 mark in the GLVC. The Panthers split a pair of games last weekend, losing 1-0 at No. 15 Bellarmine, before picking up a 2-1 win at Southern Indiana on Sunday.
SCOUTING THE LADY MINERS: Missouri S&T enters the weekend with an overall record of 1-5 with a 0-4 mark in the GLVC. The Lady Miners have lost four-straight games, including 2-0 losses at both Southern Indiana and No. 15 Bellarmine last weekend.
