(SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Sep. 25)- The McKendree University men's soccer team lost a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at Drury University on Friday night in double overtime 2-1.
The Bearcats fall to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the GLVC, and will travel to Rolla, Mo., on Sunday, Sep. 25 to face Missouri S&T at 2:30 p.m.

Felipe Thompson (Santiago, Chile/Hurricane High School) knotted the game up 1-1 in the 10th minute off an assist from senior
Jan Peters (Suedergellersen, Germany/Gymnasium Oedeme). The game stayed tied, 1-1, through the remainder of regulation to send the game to overtime. After a scoreless first overtime, Drury ended the game with a goal with only 1:42 left in the second overtime.

Scott Armistead (Auckland, New Zealand/Saint Peter's College) fell to 3-3 overall and matched his career-high with 11 saves in the loss.
