(Lebanon, Ill., Oct. 25) – The McKendree University men's soccer team travels on Wednesday to University of Illinois Springfield at 7:30 p.m. for their final contest of the 2016 season.

Last week, the Bearcats tied University of Southern Indiana at home in a 0-0 contest on Friday night. On Sunday, the Bearcats dropped a 2-1 contest against Bellarmine University.

Heading into Wednesday's match, the Bearcats are 3-7-4 overall and 2-7-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). This puts McKendree in the fourteenth spot in the GLVC standings.

Scouting the Prairie Stars: Illinois Springfield heads into the contest with a 6-9-2 overall record and 5-7-2 mark in the GLVC putting them in the tenth spot in the GLVC standings. The Prairie Stars offense is led by Zachary Allevi who holds the team lead with 16 points.
