Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 13)- The McKendree University women's basketball team had four hit double digits in scoring, but it wasn't enough to pull off the upset in a 71-60 loss to No. 12 Drury University.
The Bearcats fall to 11-14 overall and 6-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and will host Bellarmine University on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
Junior forward 
Emily Pusheck (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) led McKendree with 14 points, while freshman forward 
Jordan Morton (Olathe, Kan./Olathe South) added 11 points and seven rebounds. Senior guard 
Kelsee Ennis (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) and junior guard/forward 
Amber Alexander (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway North) each also had 10 points, with Alexander matching her season high.
The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the game, before a layup by Pusheck put the Bearcats on the board. A layup by Alexander cut the deficit to six, but Drury ended the quarter with a 24-13 lead. McKendree battled back and outscored the Lady Panthers, 8-3, over the first three and half minutes of the second quarter to cut the score to 27-21, and only trailed, 39-30, at the half. Drury built a double-digit lead for the majority of the third quarter, until a free throw by Morton cut the deficit to 50-41 with 2:55 left in the period. The Bearcats used a 9-0 run halfway through the fourth quarter to come within three, 59-56, but the Lady Panthers went 7-for-7 at the line down the stretch to end the game 71-60.
Addy Roller led all players with 18 points for Drury.
