(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 17)- The McKendree University women's basketball team will host a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference games this weekend, including its second-straight game against a top 25 opponent.

The Bearcats host No. 25 Bellarmine University on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m., before hosting University of Southern Indiana on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. McKendree will honor its three seniors prior to tip-off on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS: Bellarmine University enters the week with an overall record of 18-3, with a 12-3 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and is ranked No. 25 in the latest NCAA Division II ranking. The Knights won both of their games last weekend, defeating University of Missouri-St. Louis, 68-47, on Thursday, before picking up a 78-59 win over Maryville on Saturday. Sarah Galvin leads Bellarmine with 17.8 points and eight rebounds/game.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES: University of Southern Indiana enters the week with an overall record of 12-11 and a 5-10 mark in the GLVC. The Eagles snapped a 10-game losing streak with a pair of wins last weekend, defeating Maryville, 74-61, before earning a 76-69 win over Missouri-St. Louis. Hannah Wascher leads Southern Indiana with 13.3 points and 7.9 rebounds/game.

SENIOR DAY SATURDAY: Prior to Saturday's game, we will honor our seniors Kelsee Ennis (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South), Kacey Johnson (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence Central), and Ashley Klass (Evansville, Ind./Evansville North) for all of their accomplishments during their collegiate careers.
