(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 24)--The McKendree University will hit the road for a four-game, non-conference series this weekend at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn. The Bearcats and Eagles will play single games Friday and Sunday afternoon sandwiched around a Saturday doubleheader.
The Bearcats were swept in a season-opening, three-game series last weekend at Missouri Southern State University, the No. 15-ranked team by Collegiate Baseball. Freshman infielder

Matt Walsh (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton Warrenville South), outfielder
Ryan Cates (Anderson, IN/Yorktown) and catcher
Chris Deaville (Rantoul, IL/Rantoul) -- each drove in a pair of runs against the Lions. Junior infielder
Isaac Fisher (Washington, IL/Washington) -- who led the Bearcats' football program in rushing yards in 2015 -- showed off his running skills on the basepaths by scoring three times at Missouri Southern.
