(O'FALLON, Ill., April 9)- The McKendree University men's tennis team earned a 7-2 win over University of Illinois Springfield on Saturday.

The Bearcats improve to 11-10 overall and 1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and will host Lewis University on April 15 at 2 p.m., in Belleville, Ill., at Southwestern Illinois College.

"I am proud of how we played today," said head coach Raquel Allen. "We were very aggressve in doubles, and we played very solid in singles. I am happy with the outcome tonight and we played with a lot of confidence throughout the match."
