Box Score (LEBANON, Ill., May 1)—The McKendree University lacrosse fell 23-10 to Tiffin University Sunday afternoon in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match-up.
The loss drops the Bearcats to 8-9 overall and 6-6 in the GLIAC.
The Bearcats were led offensively by sophomore attacker
Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, Mo./Barat Academy) who tallied a trio of goals and added one assist. Sophomore attacker
Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, Mo./Ursuline Academy) added three goals of her own while sophomore attacker
Mia Fiore (Eureka, Mo./Eureka High School) along with freshman attacker
Emily Nelson (Deephaven, Minn./Holy Family Catholic), senior attacker
Rianne Holzmeyer (Hazelwood, Mo./Hazelwood West), and junior defender
Madison Dauch (Lebanon, Ill./Lebanon) each netted a goal.

Amy Porta (Ellisville, Mo./Marquette) made seven stops on 30 shots for the Bearcats.
The Dragons came out firing as they opened the match on an 8-1 run. McKendree countered with three goals in the last eight minutes from DiPasquale and trailed 11-4 at the half.
Fiore opened the scoring for the Bearcats in the second half sparking a 4-2 run including a back to back goals from Salthouse to pull McKendre within six. Tiffin roared back with seven straight goals to push ahead 21-8 and coasted down the stretch holding off the Bearcats.
McKendree will return to action Tuesday in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament.
