(LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 14) The McKendree University men's soccer team hits the road this weekend when they head to Maryville University on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Heading into these contest the Bearcats are 1-0-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). Coming off a 2-2 tie against Quincy University, the Bearcats will be hungry for their first GLVC win this season.

Scouting the Saints – Heading into Friday, the Saints are 2-2 and 0-2 in the GLVC. Overall, the Bearcats are 2-2 against Maryville. The Bearcats will look to slow down the Saints offense led by leading goal scorer Pontus Gitselov, who leads the team with three goals.

Scouting the Tritons – Heading into the weekend, the Tritons are 3-1 and 2-0 in the GLVC. Overall, the Bearcats are 2-2 against Missouri-St. Louis. A key matchup for the Bearcats will be defending Pat Ries, who is currently tied in second as the leading goal scorer in the GLVC.

The Bearcats return home to Leemon Field on Friday, September 23 when they take on University of Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m.
