(Lebanon, Ill., Sept. 29) – The McKendree University men's soccer team hits the road this weekend as they travel to Lewis University on Friday for a 5:00 p.m. contest against the Flyers. The weekend concludes as they continue North to University of Wisconsin-Parkside for a noon contest against the Rangers.

Heading into the weekend, the Bearcats are 2-1-2 overall, and 1-1-2 in the GLVC.

Scouting the Flyers -- Heading into Friday's contest the Flyers are 1-7 overall, and 0-6 in the GLVC. The Bearcats hold a career record of 1-2-1 against the Flyers. The Bearcats will look to grab their third shutout of the 2016 season as the Flyers have been held scoreless in their last three contests.

Scouting the Rangers – Heading into the weekend the Rangers are 3-4-1 overall, and 1-4-1 in the GLVC. The Bearcats look to build on their previous success as they hold a 3-1-0 record against the Rangers. Shutting down Ryan Shogren, who leads the team with three goals will be an important key to limiting the Ranger offense.

The Bearcats return home to Leemon Field on Friday, October 7 for a 7:30 p.m. contest against Missouri S&T. The weekend continues as the Bearcats welcome Drury University on Sunday, October 9 for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
