(Quincy, Ill., October 1) – The McKendree University men's soccer team fell to 2-7 overall and 0-7 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) as they dropped a 1-0 contest to Quincy University this afternoon.

In the contest McKendree took seven shots putting one on frame.

In the 14 minute of play Ty Rogers found the back of the net on a crossing ball to give the Hawks an early 1-0 led.

Brett Niedzwiecki (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville High School) played all 90 minutes in net collecting two saves.

The men's soccer team is back in action at Leemon Field on Friday, October 6 at 7:30  p.m. when the team plays host to Truman State University.
