(Springfield, MO., October 15) – The McKendree University women's soccer team moved to 10-1-3 overall and 7-1-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) as they played to a 1-1 tie with Drury University this evening.

The Bearcats outshot the Panthers 17-9 in the contest however only putting four shots on net.

Drury opened up scoring in the 29 minute as Ellie Johnson found the back of the net from 13 yards out.

Kate Bixby (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt North) would even the score at 1-1 in the 52 minute when Grace Neidhardt (Granite City, IL/Granite City ) found Bixby inside the box.

In net for the Bearcats was Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) who collected four saves.

The women's soccer team returns home on Friday, October 20 at 5 p.m. when Missouri S&T visits Leemon Field.
