(Lebanon, Ill., October 22) – The McKendree University women's soccer team moved to 11-2-3 overall and 8-2-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) as they fell to Maryville University 1-0 this evening.

The Bearcats outshot the Saints in the contest 17-6 putting 9 shots on net.

In 60 minute of play, Mariah Loya found the back of the net on a header from a throw in that Ashley Pogue and Alex Johnson assisted on.

In net for McKendree was Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) who tallied two saves during the match.

The women's soccer team is back in action on Wednesday, October 25 at 5 p.m. when the Bearcats travel to Southern Indiana University for the regular season finale.
