(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 28) – The McKendree University men's water polo team hits the road to Monmouth College for three Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) – Western Division matchups across Saturday and Sunday at Pepper Natatorium. The Bearcats take on Salem International University on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., followed up by a contest against Mercyhurst at 5 p.m. Sunday, McKendree takes on the host, Monmouth College, at 10:30 a.m.
 
The Bearcats are coming off of their second home victory of the season to remain unbeaten at home. McKendree improved its record to 5-14 on the season with the win. The Bearcats have faced all three opponents already this season, including Mercyhurst and Salem International at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Championships. McKendree was defeated in both contests, but looks to rebound with wins this weekend. The Bearcats faced Monmouth in their home opener this season on September 16^th, taking a 14-8 win over the Fighting Scots.
