Amy Porta (Ellisville, MO/Marquette) was selected as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.
Porta recorded seven saves, two groundballs, and caused two turnovers in McKendree's 18-6 victory over Georgian Court University.
Against No. 15 New York Institute of Technology, Porta collected 11 saves, two groundballs, and caused one turnover in the Bearcats' effort.
Porta is 3-3 on the 2017 campaign with a conference leading 42 saves.
