(Lebanon, Ill., April 20) – The McKendree University women's lacrosse team improved to 9-4 overall as they unleashed an offensive flurry upon Oklahoma Baptist in a 23-4 contest this evening.

The Bearcats outshot the Bison 39-8 putting 32 shots on cage. McKendree also controlled the groundball battle 26-9 adding 15 caused turnovers to the mix.

Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, MO/Barat Academy) and Victoria Lelo (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) led the offensive charge both tallying six points on the evening. DiPasquale dished out five assists adding one goal, while Lelo netted four goals and two helpers. Bree Suter (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) added to the offensive outburst with a season high five goals. Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline Academy) rounded out the top point contributors with four on three goals and one assist.

Defensively, Lelo tied a season high with 11 draw controls. Hannah Sugarman (Holden, MA/Wachusett Regional ) played a dominate roll running the midfield posting a game high five groundballs along with causing three turnovers and netting three goals. Amy Porta (Ellisville, MO/Marquette) collected the victory in net allowing one goal on three shots faced.

The women's lacrosse team is back in action on Sunday, April 23 as it travels to Grand Valley State for a 1 p.m. ET draw.
