(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 11) – The McKendree University men's soccer team will head out on the road this weekend to take on the Missouri S&T at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12 and then Maryville University at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play.
 
The Bearcats are currently 6-4-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the GLVC. Offensively, McKendree is led by sophomore midfielder Eddie Davis (Arundel, England/Amersham College) with 10 points through 11 games, followed by sophomore forward James Stone (Eastbourne, England/Bede's Senior School) with seven points. Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Alvaro Cortazar (Asuncion, Paraguay/Santa Teresa de Jesus) has 28 saves through 10 games played.
 
Missouri S&T is currently 3-8 overall and 3-5 in GLVC play after most recently defeating Truman State 3-2 in overtime on Sunday, October 7.
 
The Saints of Maryville are currently 6-2-2 overall and 5-1-1 in GLVC play and ranked seconde in the GLVC standings after most recently defeating the University of Indianapolis 3-2 last Friday, October 5.
