(LEBANON, Ill., October 18) – The McKendree University women's soccer team will battle on their home turf as they take on Truman State at 5:00 p.m. this Friday, October 19, as well as the Hawks of Rockhurst University at noon on Sunday, October 21 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play. The Bearcat seniors will be honored prior to the start of their match against Rockhurst on Sunday.
 
The Bearcats currently sit atop the GLVC rankings with an 11-2-1 overall and 7-2-1 record. Offensively, McKendree is led by senior midfielder Jane Skaggs (St. Charles, MO/Duchesne) who has tallied eight points through 12 games this season, followed by junior midfielder Madyson Mossman (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline Academy) with seven points. Junior goalkeeper Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) has accumulated ten shutouts this year and has recorded 40 saves between the posts for the Bearcats.
 
The Bulldogs of Truman State are currently ranked fourth in the GLVC standings with a 10-3-1 overall and a 6-3-1 GLVC record, most recently tying Bellarmine 0-0.
 
Rockhurst University is currently ranked third in the GLVC standings with a 8-5-1 overall and 7-3-0 GLVC record,  most recently defeating the University of Indianapolis 2-1.
