(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 23) – The McKendree University men's soccer team will conclude their regular season as well as honor senior Luke Schlichting (Perryville, MO/Perryville High School) on Wednesday October 24 at 7:30 p.m. as they face the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play.
 
The Bearcats are currently 8-5-1 overall and 6-4-1 in the GLVC. Offensively, McKendree is led by sophomore midfielder Eddie Davis (Arundel, England/Amersham College) with 17 points through 15 games, followed by forwards James Stone (Eastbourne, England/Bede's Senior School) and Raul Artega (Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico) with eight points each. Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Alvaro Cortazar (Asuncion, Paraguay/Santa Teresa de Jesus) has 36 saves through 14 games played.
 
The Tritons of UMSL are currently 6-9-0 overall and 5-7-0 in GLVC play, after most recently defeating Quincy University 2-0 on Sunday, October 21.
